Legendary comedian Umer Sharif dead body reached to Karachi this morning. The body has shift to Edhi mortuary.
Arrangements have made to bring the body of Umer Sharif to the residence. Strict security arrangements at the residence in Gulshan-e-Iqbal have made. Area police personnel and traffic police personnel have deployed.
Turkish Airlines flight TK-708 took off from Istanbul at 12:53 pm and reached Karachi Airport at 5:33 am.
Umer Sharif’s widow Zarin Ghazal also reached Karachi with the deceased.
The ambulance carrying the body of Umer Sharif was shower with flower petals. A large number of relatives, fans and citizens were present in the caravan during the departure of the body to the morgue.
The body of comedy king Umer Sharif has wrapped in the national flag.
Umer Sharif’s funeral prayers will be offer at 3 pm in Umer Sharif Park. However, he will be buried in the premises of Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine.
According to Umer Sharif’s son, Maulana Bashir Farooqi will lead his father’s funeral prayers.
