Famous Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his fiancée Georgina Rodriguez have announced plans to hold a grand wedding celebration in the future after getting married in a simple ceremony at home.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez got married on August 11 in the drawing room of their home in Portugal. Apart from their children, no guests attended the ceremony.

The couple chose to marry on the 10th anniversary of their first meeting, which took place at a store in Madrid in 2016.

In an interview with British fashion magazine Vogue, Georgina Rodriguez said that due to their busy schedules, the couple decided to immediately hold a simple ceremony at home.

According to Georgina, they will hold a larger wedding celebration in the future with family and friends so they can share the happiness with everyone.

She revealed that as a child, she used to dream of having a grand wedding in a huge palace, arriving in a royal carriage, wearing a long bridal gown and a diamond-studded crown. However, her priorities changed over time.
