Actor Feroze Khan has provided evidence of the defamation lawsuit he filed against Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and challenged her to substantiate the “baseless and defamatory accusations” she made against him. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who won an Oscar, has summoned to appear in court for a hearing on April 4, 2023.
Feroze Khan has been persistent in his efforts to hold Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy accountable for what he claims was a “defamation” campaign against him following the domestic violence allegations made by his ex-wife, Syeda Aliza Sultan.
Feroze Khan took to his Instagram account to share the legal notice he sent to Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, along with a strongly-worded message directed at her.
“sharmeenobaidchinoy , it’s time for you to step up and prove your frivolous & defamatory allegations which you had leveled without making any enquiry whatsoever. The Hon’ble sessions court of district south Karachi has summoned you to appear and submit your response. let’s hope you do your homework properly this time. InshAllah the truth will prevail. One who levels allegations without any proof is doomed in this world and so also in the world hereafter“
The notice states that Sharmeen’s Twitter account posted about Feroze Khan’s alleged involvement in domestic violence, which had a significant negative impact on Khan’s reputation and financial status.
