Aditya Singh Rajput, a popular model-turned-actor, was discovered unconscious in his Andheri home on Monday. Rushed to the hospital by his house help, Rajput was declared dead upon arrival. Authorities have filed an accidental death report (ADR) and are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death.
The incident took place in Rajput’s 11th-floor flat at Lashkaria Greenwood Apartments in Oshiwara. His house help heard a noise from the bathroom and found him lying unconscious. Seeking immediate medical assistance, they called a doctor from a nearby clinic, who confirmed Rajput’s demise. The police have initiated an investigation and are considering all possible angles, including claims of a drug overdose and a party attended by the actor the previous night.
Rajput had been suffering from cold and cough in the days leading up to his death and had been consulting a doctor for treatment. Statements from witnesses present at his residence, including the house help and watchman, are being recorded, and his mobile phone will be examined. Rajput’s mother has been informed and is traveling from Delhi to Mumbai.
