Salman-Arijit feud

Salman Khan and Arijit Singh’s relationship soured after the two got into a quarrel during an award ceremony in 2014. Salman was the event’s host.

Arijit, dressed casually and wearing flip-flops, came onto the platform to accept an award when Salman mockingly questioned, “So gaye the (Were you sleeping)?” The singer said, “Aap logon ne sula diya (You all put me to sleep).” The ‘Tiger 3’ actor responded that it is not their fault that songs like ‘Tum Hi Ho’ continue to play.

Following this, Arjit Singh’s songs were removed from Salman’s films, including ‘Sultan’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

Arijit Singh officially apologised to Salman Khan in 2016 and asked him to keep his version of the song in ‘Sultan’.
