Famous Pakistani comedian Umer Sharif leaves for America in an air ambulance. His wife Zareen Ghazal accompanies him in the air ambulance.
Umer Sharif is suffering from heart and various other diseases. He was getting his treatment at a private hospital in Karachi from several weeks. The Sindh government has released a treatment fund of Rs 40 million for him.
He was rushed by ambulance from a private hospital in Karachi to Jinnah Terminal of Karachi Airport today. Air ambulance was awaited from so long for his travel from Pakistan to US.
A medical team was also there to transfer him from the hospital to the ambulance.
Umer is being flown to the US capital, Washington, for treatment. However Dr Tariq Shehab, husband of actress Reema Khan and a cardiologist has made arrangements for his treatment.�
Dr. Tariq Shehab helped umer�s family for US visas and also made all the prior arrangements at George Washington University Hospital.
An air ambulance arrived in Pakistan from Manila on Monday afternoon and leave the JIAP today.
