Following Pakistan’s crushing loss to arch-rivals India in ICC World Cup 2023, actress Nawal Saeed said that Pakistani cricketers were sending her flirtatious messages on Instagram.
Nawal Saeed’s disclosure emerged during her appearance on a private TV show where she not only delved into her career but also openly discussed the obstacles she faced.
The versatile artist initiated her journey in the music industry, transitioned into commercial modeling, and subsequently ventured into the realm of acting.
While reflecting on her path, Nawal conveyed her heartfelt appreciation for her dedicated fan base, recognizing their role in her journey to stardom.
Nawal Saeed shared a light-hearted incident from her work experiences. She recounted a bridal photoshoot alongside her longtime friend, actor Noor Hassan, which unexpectedly led to rumors of a marriage between them.
This misunderstanding even reached Noor’s parents, who were bombarded with inquiries from relatives, mistakenly assuming their son had tied the knot without their knowledge.
Nawal then urged Pakistani cricketers to stop “sliding into her DMs” and focus on the cricket World Cup.
She said “I don’t know why they do that, I mean you are representing Pakistan, you have an official verified account with blue tick, how can you randomly message actresses like this, it should not be like that, yes, they do text and praise.”
When the host asked her about her message to Pakistani cricketers the renowned actress said that “I would like to say that we are actors, we are entertainers but you are national heroes who represent Pakistan on international level, you wear green shirts, don’t do that.”
However, despite asked by the host Momin Saqib, Nawal Saeed refused to name the cricketer who sent her private messages.
