The fasting for 1st Ramadan 2021 in Pakistan will be on April 14 (tomorrow) as the moon is sighted today.
The Chairman Ruet e Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad revealed the news. He chaired the meeting at Peshawar in which Ulema from different sects were present.
It was the first occasion when he made announcement regarding the Ramadan moon sighting in Pakistan. However, before him, Mufti Muneeb Ur Rehman headed the Ruet e Hilal Committe for several years.
As the decision is now announced regarding the 1st Ramadan 2021 in Pakistan, Taraweeh prayer will also begins in the country from today. People will do Sehri and Iftar as per the timings of their respective cities.
