As per media reports, the Cabinet Division in Pakistan has initiated preparations for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festivities scheduled for April 22nd.
Reports indicate that a proposal for 4 to 5 Eid holidays will be presented to the Prime Minister’s office for consideration, and a decision on the timing and duration of the holidays is expected to be made next week.
According to recent reports, there are indications that the upcoming Eid holiday may result in extended vacations. Specifically, if Eid falls on a Friday, the holiday period is expected to run from April 20th to April 23rd. However, if Eid is observed on a Saturday, the holiday may be extended until April 24th. It is expected that the official notice regarding the holiday period will be announced in the near future.
It is worth noting that the Ruet-i-Hilal Research Council (RHRC) has made a prediction regarding the date of Eid-ul-Fitr. According to the RHRC, the holiday is expected to fall on Saturday, April 22nd across the country, following a month-long fast during Ramazan. As always, these predictions are subject to change based on the sighting of the moon, but this information provides a helpful indication of what to expect.
