The federal government has announced a four-day holiday for Eid ul Fitr 2022 on Tuesday. Eid ul Fitr will be observed from 2nd, Monday to 5th, Thursday, May. The four days holiday was approved by PM Shehbaz Sharif when a summary of three day holiday was sent. To which he changed and made it for four days.
According to Astronomers, the Lunar (Shawwal) moon will be expected to be sighted on May 2 which will make Eid ul Fitr 2022 fall on May 3 of this year. As per the reports shared by astronomers, the moon will be visible from April 30 and May 1 coinciding at 1:28 am PST. After the sunset, the mood will be sighted for at least to 40 to 89 minutes and the crescent could be seen in various parts of the country.
