Hajj 2024 Flight Operation Set to Begin on May 9th

Ministry of Religious Affairs Finalizes Hajj 2024 Operation Details, Flights Commencing from May 9th

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially announced the commencement of the Hajj flight operation starting from May 9th, marking a significant step in facilitating pilgrims across Pakistan. With meticulous planning and coordination, the ministry has ensured that the Hajj operation will run smoothly until June 9th without any interruptions.

To accommodate pilgrims, the operation will span across 8 major airports nationwide, including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Sialkot, and Rahim Yar Khan airports. This widespread coverage aims to streamline the journey for all pilgrims, providing them with convenient access to their departure points.

Pilgrims from different cities will have designated departure airports, such as Peshawar pilgrims departing from Islamabad Airport and Faisalabad pilgrims departing from Lahore Airport. This strategic arrangement aims to optimize travel logistics and ensure a hassle-free experience for all participants.

Additionally, the introduction of the Road to Makkah service at Rawalpindi and Islamabad airports will further enhance the pilgrimage process. This service will facilitate immigration procedures within Pakistan, simplifying the journey for pilgrims before they embark on their sacred pilgrimage.

Furthermore, collaboration with four airlines underscores the commitment to providing efficient air travel services during the Hajj operation. The vaccination process for pilgrims will kick off on April 30th at 10 designated Hajj camps, prioritizing the health and safety of all participants.

Under the government’s Hajj scheme, a total of 69,500 pilgrims will have the opportunity to embark on the Hajj Al-Maqdis journey, reflecting the inclusive approach adopted to accommodate a significant number of pilgrims.

This comprehensive preparation and execution of the Hajj operation signify a concerted effort by the Ministry of Religious Affairs to ensure a seamless and memorable Hajj experience for all pilgrims, upholding the spirit of devotion and unity.
