HANDS Pakistan, one of the largest and most renowned Non-Profit Organizations, following their norm of facilitating the society, has introduced Doctor On Call, as the most trusted and most reliable online medical platform, providing all medical services and consultation to the customers from the comfort of their homes with the motto of sehat aur sahulat sath sath.
In correspondence to the growing need of telehealth services and facilitating the customers from the comfort of their homes, physicians and specialists of Pakistani origins were reached out through Doctor On Call to continue their practice through the telemedicine platform. More than 50 consultants trained in different specialties joined the platform during this critical time. This initiative has been taken in continuation with the vision to develop a sustainable health ecosystem and to provide universal access to quality health care to a population of 5 million people through information, communication, and technology.
How does it work?
A complete management information system has been developed where every little detail about the onboard doctors and patients will be timely updated.
The Onboard doctors are connected to the patients via call. The patients contact DOCTOR ON CALL via the helpline where the call operator gathers important brief information from the patient, then in after submitting that patient on the digital portal, they will �CONNECT� that patient to the available doctor & then the doctor will enter all the information received from the patient in the EMR & then the E- prescription sent to the patient�s phone number through AUTO SMS & WhatsApp.
