Karachi Set for Landmark Transformation as “Burj-e-Quaid” Tower Project Is Officially Signed
Karachi is set to enter a new era of high-rise urban development following the official signing of an agreement for the construction of Pakistan’s tallest building, the “Burj-e-Quaid”.
The project has been officially established in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between DHA City Karachi and ABS Developers to construct an 82-storey high-rise building in DHA City, Karachi. The tower will be 941 feet tall once completed, which makes it the tallest in Pakistan.
Major High-Rise Development in DHA City Karachi
The project will be built on about 6 acres of land located in DHA City Karachi, a growing planned residential and commercial area on the outskirts of Karachi. The tower is designed to be a modern and sleek structure, with a focus on its sleek lines and contemporary design.
Project information states that construction should be finished within 6 years, depending on the duration of development and the fulfillment of requirements.
Regulatory Approval Already Granted
The Civil Aviation Authority and other relevant departments have already issued the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the 941ft structure, officials said. This approval is a major hurdle that lifts restrictions on the project’s height, allowing it to move forward.
International Standards and Expertise
Burj-e-Quaid will be built under the guidance of international consultants and engineering professionals. The developers aim for adherence to international safety, design, and structural excellence, making it a benchmark for future developments in the country.
Economic and Urban Impact
The development is seen as a major real estate and investment opportunity for the city of Karachi by urban planners and stakeholders. The tower is expected to be a draw for both nation and international investors, boost commercial activity, and contribute to the development of modern infrastructure for the city.
The development is also expected to inspire a new trend in vertical building in Karachi, which will help the city meet its urban density needs and modernize its skyline.
A New Era for Karachi’s Skyline
Once finished, Burj-e-Quaid will be a beacon of Karachi’s changing identity as a key metropolitan center. Officials refer to it as the start of a new chapter in the architectural and urban development history in Pakistan that will set the stage for the future mega-structures in the country.
