Quetta, the provincial capital, bears witness to a complete shutdown as commercial activities grind to a halt. The closure of shops and sparse traffic on city roads paint a picture of dissent and frustration among the populace.
Four prominent political parties in Balochistan – Pashtunkhawa Mili Awami Party, Balochistan National Party, Hazara Democratic Party, and National Party – have come together, rallying against what they perceive as electoral manipulation.
