Bank and PSX Services
Customers will not have access to regular branch services on Friday. Banks will resume normal branch operations after the weekend.
ATMs and digital banking channels can continue to provide services during the closure. Availability may vary between banks.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has also listed Friday, August 14, as an Independence Day holiday. The exchange calendar marks it as a one-day market closure.
The three-day break therefore covers the August 14 public holiday and the regular Saturday and Sunday holidays. Customers who need branch-based banking services should plan their transactions before the closure.
