Broiler Chicken Prices Drop in Pakistan – Relief for Consumers!

In a surprising turn of events, the cost of broiler chicken has seen a significant drop in the markets of Peshawar and Lahore. This comes after a recent surge in prices, providing relief to consumers.

Lahore has witnessed a substantial decrease in broiler meat prices, with a reduction of 15 rupees per kilogram. The current retail price of broiler chicken meat stands at 580 rupees per kilogram. Meanwhile, the wholesale rate for live broiler is now set at 370 rupees per kilogram.

Peshawar has also experienced a price drop in the last two days. The cost of live broiler chicken, previously sold at 450 rupees per kilogram, has been reduced by 30 rupees, bringing it down to 420 rupees per kilogram.

While poultry prices are on a downward trend, egg prices have seen a slight increase. The cost per dozen has risen by 2 rupees, making the current price 239 rupees.

This fluctuation in poultry prices is a topic of interest for consumers and traders alike. As the market adjusts, all eyes will be on the future trends in the poultry industry.
