Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Gathers in Islamabad to Sight Eid ul-Fitr Moon Today

The meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to sight the moon for Eid ul-Fitr will be held today in Islamabad.

A meeting is scheduled for today, led by the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad. The purpose of the meeting is to sight the moon for Eid-ul-Fitr.

The decision regarding the sighting of the Shawwal moon will be made during the Islamabad meeting, whereas the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees will convene in Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, and Quetta.

The meeting will be attended by delegates from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Meteorological Department, and SUPARCO.

According to astronomers, Eid al-Fitr is expected to take place in Pakistan on the 22nd of April this week.
