Coronavirus In Pakistan: The Death Toll Crosses 25,000 Mark

The numbers of deaths from Coronavirus in Pakistan are now over 25,000. According to the NCOC or National Command and Operation Centre, 53,881 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours and out of them, 3,772 emerged as positive cases.

The positivity ratio in Pakistan stood at 7%. However, 80 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours.

Total numbers of 1,127,584 Coronavirus cases are reported in Pakistan. NCOC reported that the active numbers of cases in the country are 89,919.

They further added that 1,012,662 people have recovered in Pakistan after contracting COVID-19.

On the other side, schools in Sindh are still closed. Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Chief Minister revealed in a statement that staff, teachers, and parents should get themselves vaccinated before the reopening of schools in the province.
