In a significant development, Khadija Shah, a fashion designer and daughter of former Finance Minister Salman Shah, has been ordered to serve time in jail. The decision came from the Anti-Terrorism Court, which is handling a case related to the Jinnah House Lahore arson and vandalism incident.
She was brought before the court with her face covered, and the court granted permission for her to meet her husband in the court room.

Judge Abhar Gul of the Anti-Terrorism Court heard the police’s request, and the police had requested the court to send her to jail for the identification parade.
The police stated in court that the investigating officer in Shah’s case is busy in the High Court.
The court completed the attendance of Khadija Shah and Huma Saeed and allowed both women to leave for the time being, deferring further proceedings.
Khadija, who is the daughter of former Finance Minister Salman Shah and the granddaughter of former Army Chief General Asif Nawaz Janjua, was arrested yesterday.
