The culture and Tourism Authority (CTA) of KPK is preparing to establish the state’s first-ever Integrated Tourism Zones (ITZs). The development is made through Public Private Partnership (PPP), to encourage sustainable development and speed up economic growth.
On a PPP basis, ITZs would create in the picturesque valleys of Ganool, Mansehra, Mankiyal, and Swat. The establishment of ITZs will encourage tourism and offer job possibilities. It can generate significant cash for the national government as well.
KP is Pakistan’s major tourism center, offering the finest investment prospects in the industry. The provincial administration seeks to encourage environmentally friendly tourism in the province.
Through the CTA, The provincial Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has requested Expressions of Interest (Eol) from national and international firms with the necessary experience for the construction of the first-ever ITZs.
Except for foreign entities, all interested parties must register with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s tax authorities. Foreign entities must produce a tax certificate from their home nation that has confirmed by a Pakistani embassy.
The procurement procedure will conduct in two stages and controlled by the Khyber Pakthunkhwa Public Private Partnership (Selection of Private Partner) Rules, 2021.
The EoL should’ve given in English in a sealed bag by hand or courier to the location shown below by January 20, 2023. On January 20, 2023, the Evaluation Committee will open the Eol in the existence of the parties’ delegates.
If the date of approval, submission, and/or opening of Eol declared on a public holiday or a non-working day due to a natural disaster, the date of submission, and/or publication of Eol should treated as the following official working day.
CTA is not liable for any costs or expenditures spent by the parties in the preparation and/or submission of documents. Interested parties can get the required papers at the CTA office or download them from the official website.
