In a bid to promote a culture of health and fitness among its residents, the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Sports and Culture Department is launching a series of free yoga sessions in the city.
Starting from May 2nd, the complimentary yoga classes will held at two prime locations: the Multipurpose Ground in Sector F-6 Markaz and Mehran Gate near Baradri in F-9 Park. The sessions will divided into morning and evening shifts to accommodate varying schedules, running from 6 am to 8 am and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Open to individuals of all ages and genders, these classes come at no expense to participants. The CDA aims to provide a platform for residents to prioritize their physical and mental well-being, particularly the youth, as part of its fundamental institutional mandate.
In addition to the yoga sessions, the Department of Sports and Culture also set to roll out coaching classes for basketball, lawn tennis, and futsal, tailored specifically for children under the age of 16. These coaching sessions will conducted at the Multipurpose Ground in Sector F-6 Markaz and Sector G-11 Multipurpose Ground.
