Amid gas crises, Federal Minister for Energy ensures the supply of gas at breakfast, lunch and dinner time. He assures that domestic consumers would not face gas shortage at these times.
Country is expecting a great shortage of gas supply in winters. Despite having gas crises countrywide Federal Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar assure the supply of gas in winter. He said on fiday that domestic consumers would not face gas shortage at meal time.
During a senate meeting he passed this statement. Meeting discussed the gas shortage and rumors about it. However Azhar denied the rumor that gas would be available only 3 days. He assure the provision of gas on daily basis.
Azhar said government is trying to ensure the supply of gas three times a day.
He also discuss about the deal with Russia regarding the gas and the renovation of gas pipelines. Country is producing 70 % of gas for consumption, however 30 % is fulfilling by LNG.
The government of Pakistan has decided to continue supplying gas to the power and fertilizer sectors, while domestic and industrial consumers will face shortage due to severe shortage in the country during the winter season.
