Gas Price in Pakistan: OGRA raised tariff for SSGC and SNGPL

OGRA or Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority raised the gas price in Pakistan for the ongoing month.

Gas price in Pakistan is increased for the month of February 2020. OGRA raised tariff of RLNG or Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas for both SSGC and SNGPL. However, as per the new rate, valid for February, revealed that the RLNG will cost Rs 109 per MMBtu per month.

Now, the imported RLNG price for Sui Southern Gas Corporation is raised by $0.73 per MMBtu. However, the new price will be $11.1943 per MMBtu, and it was $10.4602 in January.

Moreover, the price raise for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Company Limited is comparatively lower at $0.71 per MMBtu. Likewise, last month, the new RLNG price in Pakistan was $10.4822.

A few days ago, news came that PPL may have found the biggest gas reserves in Pakistan near Sui.
