The utility company has said people should plan ahead for their daily gas needs in affected areas, but until repairs are finished.
SSGC expressed hope that in case maintenance work is successfully completed without any technical issues, supply of gas will be restored in Quetta by 6:00 PM today.
Some of the areas under temporary gas cut are Bakar Mandi, Bhoosa Mandi, Link Badini, Sariab Road, Qambrani Road, Kirani Road, Tarkha, Satellite Town, Gol Mandi, Mali Bagh, Mission Hospital and Akram Hospital.
The company has asked residents to be patient as the emergency repairs are carried out and normal gas supply restarted in the affected areas.
