Urgent CNIC in 15 Days – Nadra, Pakistan’s National Database Registration Authority, has introduced a significant enhancement for individuals seeking urgent issuance of their national identity cards. They have streamlined the process, reducing the delivery time from the previous 23 days to just 15 days. This change comes without any additional fees, making it more accessible for citizens requiring urgent ID card services.
The authority recently made this announcement via social media, highlighting the benefits this adjustment brings to the masses. By shortening the issuance time for urgent category applications, Nadra aims to provide quick relief to applicants, ensuring they receive their ID cards promptly.
The National Identity Card (NIC) is a crucial document for Pakistani citizens, integrating advanced technology and precise business protocols to ensure its credibility and legality. With a unique 13-digit identification number, the NIC holds nationwide recognition and is essential for acquiring various documents such as licenses, NTN, bank accounts, passports, and mobile connections. Eligible citizens, aged 18 and above, can obtain their NIC through Nadra.
Effective from April 2024, the fee for applying under the urgent category for the smart ID card is Rs1,500, making this expedited service more accessible and efficient for the Pakistani populace.
