IESCO Announces Hours-Long Power Outages in Islamabad and Rawalpindi

Residents of several areas in Islamabad and Rawalpindi will face power outages for several hours on Monday, October 5, as the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) carries out maintenance and development work.

Electricity supply to several feeders will remain suspended between 7am and 2pm, while some areas will face outages from 8am to noon.

Rawalpindi Power Outage Schedule

In Rawalpindi City Circle, electricity supply from the Qadeer Road and KRL feeders will remain suspended from 7am to 2pm.

The Millatabad, Dhok Chaudhrian, Peshawar Road, Askari XI and Cobb Line feeders will remain off from 8am to 12pm.

Islamabad Power Outage Schedule

In Islamabad Circle, the following feeders will face outages from 8am to 12pm:

Islamabad Club One
Islamabad Club Two
Mahfooz Shaheed
Shahzad Town
Filtration Plant
Pindorian
Scheme Two
Orchard Scheme
CDA Pump

IESCO said the shutdowns are linked to maintenance, repair and development work involving electricity lines serving the two cities.

The company apologized to customers for the inconvenience and requested their cooperation during the scheduled work.
