In an exciting development, Imran Riaz Khan, the esteemed senior journalist and anchorperson, is poised to make a triumphant return to journalism in the coming months, according to his lawyer, Mian Ali Ashfaq.
During a recent appearance on a TV show, Mian Ali Ashfaq revealed, “It’s been 5 weeks since Imran Riaz made his comeback. A dedicated private medical board has been overseeing his recovery progress.”
Ashfaq further shared, “We are pleased to report significant improvement in Imran Riaz Khan’s health during these weeks. His recovery has been remarkably swift.”
Highlighting the specific measures being taken for Khan’s rehabilitation, he explained, “Imran Riaz is actively participating in regular speech therapy sessions, demonstrating an impressive improvement of 40 to 50 percent. With this positive trajectory, we anticipate his return to journalistic duties within the next one to two months.”
Imran Riaz Khan, a vocal journalist and ardent supporter of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, had been out of the public eye since May. However, on September 25, 2023, he safely returned home after a hiatus of four and a half months. This return followed the Lahore High Court’s directive to the Punjab Police IG, giving them a final opportunity to locate the missing anchorperson.
