In a bid to restore order and tackle the issue of encroachment, the Malir Development Authority (MDA), Anti-Encroachment Department, and Police launched a joint operation in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Hadeed area on Wednesday.
The operation targeted illegal structures and encroachments in the area, with authorities aiming to clear the land and restore it to its original state. Over 10 individuals who resisted the operation were arrested by the police.
The operation comes as part of a broader effort to address the issue of encroachment in Karachi, which has long been a thorn in the side of city authorities. Encroachment has led to the occupation of public spaces, parks, and other areas, causing inconvenience to citizens and hindering the city’s development.
The authorities have vowed to continue their efforts to remove encroachments and restore public spaces to their original state, with a focus on ensuring the rule of law and maintaining public order.
