Karachi Load Shedding Schedule in Specific Areas Today for 26 December

Karachi Electric (KE) has unveiled its plans for critical maintenance activities set to take place across various parts of the city on Tuesday, December 26. The sole power provider for Karachi has outlined a comprehensive schedule, detailing an extended power outage in the affected locations. The maintenance activities are crucial for ensuring the stability and reliability of the power supply in these specific areas.

Maintenance Schedule for Today:

  • Orangi Town: 09:30 am to 2:00 pm
  • Airport II: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Queens Road: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Gadap: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

KE has emphasized the essential nature of these activities for maintaining a consistent power supply to the residents in the aforementioned areas. The affected regions include Orangi Town, Gadap, Airport II, and Queens Road Grid.

To facilitate customers during this period, KE encourages reaching out through its social media platforms or contacting the call center at 118.

Affected Areas and Potential Power Shutdowns:

  • Orangi Town Grid: Hanifabad, Sector-10 Ghazi Nagar, Meraj-Un-Nabi Colony, Al-Sadaf Colony, Haryani Colony, 10-L, Al-Fatah Colony, Al-Sadaf Colony, Islam Nagar 4-F, 8-L, 9-E, 7-B, 6-L, 6-E, 7-C, Banaras Town, -11½, MM Colony, and others.
  • Gadap Grid: Bahria Town M-9 Deh Langheji, Rao Gohram Goth, Hub Dam, AO Farm, Haji Faqeer Mohammed Goth, and more.
  • Airport II Grid: Plot # 401 Rafah-e-Aam Society Malir, Deh Drigh Shah Faisal, Anwar-e-Ibrahim, Aswan Town, and others.
  • Queens Road Grid: Dr. Ziauddin Road, Hijrat Colony Area Saddar, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Molvi Tameez Udin Road, Napier Road, I.I Chundrigarh Road, and Old Queens Road.

Residents are advised to plan accordingly and stay connected with KE’s communication channels for updates on the scheduled maintenance to minimize inconvenience caused by temporary power shutdowns.
