In a momentous event on Monday, Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab inaugurated the Hyderi Sports Football Ground, located in the vibrant Ibrahim Hydari area of Malir, Karachi. Joining him were esteemed guests, including Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad, Mayor Karachi’s Representative for Political Affairs Karamullah Waqasi, former member of the Sindh Assembly Mahmood Alam Jamot, and former member of the National Assembly Syed Agha Rafiullah.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mayor Wahab emphasized the significance of this remarkable sports facility, describing it as a splendid gift from Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the people of Malir district. He underlined that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision is to enrich the lives of suburban residents by providing top-notch sports and entertainment amenities.
Mayor Wahab expressed his gratitude to the local leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the town administration for their collaborative efforts in making this project a reality. He also shared exciting news about an upcoming gift for the people of Malir District, Ibrahim Hyderi, and Sherpao Colony, with the forthcoming unveiling of the Star Ground in just two weeks. This expansive 20-acre facility will offer a wide array of sports facilities.
