In a significant breakthrough, security forces in Karachi have apprehended two individuals suspected of affiliation with India’s intelligence agency, RAW. The duo, identified as Khawar Hussain and Jabbar, were reportedly planning a major terror strike in the city.
The arrest operation was conducted in Karachi’s Korangi district. The suspects were found in possession of two hand grenades, a 9mm pistol, and additional ammunition. It is believed that they were receiving directives from their Indian handlers to execute terror attacks in Karachi, including sharing detailed information and images of their intended targets.
It has also been alleged that the suspects received substantial financial support from abroad, amounting to hundreds of thousands of rupees. The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has taken custody of the suspects for further investigation.
This incident underscores the constant vigilance of Karachi’s security forces in maintaining peace and stability in the city. It also serves as a reminder of the ongoing threat of terrorism and the importance of international cooperation in combating it.
