The weather forecast indicates that the monsoon winds will intensify tonight in the upper and central regions, reaching their peak on 19th July. From the evening of 19th July until 22nd or 23rd July, cities in Sindh, including Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Larkana, and Jacobabad, may experience rainfall.
Karachi, along with Hyderabad, Thatta, Sajawal, and Badin, is expected to witness intermittent rainfall from 20th to 22nd July. During this period, the maximum temperature in Karachi may reach up to 35 degrees Celsius.
In other regions, such as Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree, Galyat, and Islamabad, thunderstorms accompanied by rainfall are forecasted. Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can expect strong winds and thunderstorms, while Balochistan and some parts of Sindh may experience scattered rainfall at intermittent intervals.
Flash floods in hilly areas, particularly in Musalla Dhar, and landslides in mountainous regions, including Murree and Galyat, are potential safety concerns.
