In a promising update from the Meteorological Department, Karachi residents can finally breathe a sigh of relief as sea breezes are set to make a comeback, bringing an end to the scorching heatwave that has persisted in recent days. Furthermore, this heralds the advent of winter in the city, expected to begin in December.
Chief Meteorologist Karachi, Sardar Sarfaraz, attributes the temporary disruption in sea breezes to the monsoon system originating from Indian Rajasthan, which had a partial and complete impact on the sea winds. As a consequence, Karachi has been sweltering in the sweltering heat lately.
However, the weather forecast paints a more pleasant picture for the near future. Sea breezes are anticipated to fully return by tomorrow, with Karachi expected to remain partly cloudy over the next few days. Maximum temperatures are likely to hover around 32 to 34 degrees Celsius.
While October typically brings warmer weather to Karachi, experts are forecasting that temperatures could reach up to 35 degrees Celsius. However, relief is on the horizon. As we move towards the middle to end of November, the weather is expected to gradually transition into cooler conditions. By the first week of December, Karachi residents can anticipate a more pronounced shift towards colder weather.
This update promises respite for Karachi’s residents as they prepare to welcome the much-anticipated sea breezes and the arrival of the winter season in the weeks to come.
