Karachi weather to remain partly cloudy today

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasted party cloudy weather in Karachi.

In its weather update, the met office stated that temperature will remain between 34 to 36 degree centigrade in Karachi.

Under its influence, the weather forecast department said that the humidity in the air was recorded at 52 percent which may influence the overall weather.

At 5pm today, the temperature may drop to 32 degrees in the metropolis and the weather to remain warm and humid with misty morning for next three days and there are no chance of rain in coming days.

The met office stated that the winds are blowing in the provincial capital at 22 kilometer per hour from the southwest at the moment..

Moreover, the air quality of Karachi has been termed as unhealthy by the metrological department today. The unhealthy air quality increases the risk of respiratory infections, heart disease. People who are already ill likely to be affected severely because of the unhealthy air quality.

In order to keep yourself safe, its better that you are well equipped for your work in the metropolis. Few must-carry things include, sunglasses, umbrella, face mask, sunscreen and water bottle.

The met office said that other part of the country including Lahore, upper Punjab, Islamabad received scattered rains. Whereas, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir also received light rain during the last 24 hours.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted more scattered rains for Lahore and parts of Pakistan. The westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country. The wave is likely to prevail during next 12 to 18 hours.

Meanwhile partly cloudy weather with light rain expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and adjoining areas as well.

Hereby, people who are travelling these area advised to plan their itinerary according to the met office weather forecast.
