Karachi Weather Today: Hot and Humid Conditions to Persist, Light Drizzle Expected in Parts of City

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast hot and humid weather in Karachi over the next 24 hours, with partly cloudy skies and a possibility of light drizzle in isolated areas of the city.

The latest weather update for Karachi indicates that warm, sticky weather may be anticipated despite the sea breezes. A few areas in Karachi could experience light drizzle, providing a brief respite from the hot, humid conditions, the Met Office added.

The PMD said maximum temperature in Karachi will remain between 33°C and 35°C while minimum temperature recorded in last 24 hours was 28.5°C.

Weather officials also said that sea wind speed is 18 kmph, which helps in providing ventilation inside the city. However, the humidity level remains high at 78%, making the weather feel warmer than the actual temperature.

The Met Office has urged residents to drink plenty of water, avoid direct exposure to the sun for long periods during the hottest times of the day and to monitor the forecast.

Karachi’s weather today is likely to remain hot, humid and partly cloudy with some drizzles expected for a few minutes in certain areas, however there is no significant rainfall expected in the city.
