Karachi weather today is expected to remain partly cloudy with chances of light rain or drizzle, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). While the drizzle may bring slight relief in some areas, hot and humid conditions are likely to persist throughout the day.
The PMD forecast states that the maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to reach 35°C. During the early morning, the city recorded a temperature of 28.4°C, with humidity remaining high at 75 percent. Sea breezes are continuing to blow at around 15 km/h, but they are unlikely to significantly reduce the uncomfortable weather.
Karachi to Remain Hot and Humid Despite Drizzle
Although light drizzle is possible in different parts of Karachi, meteorologists say temperatures will remain relatively high. The combination of heat and humidity is expected to create muggy conditions, making outdoor activities uncomfortable for residents.
PMD Issues Public Advisory
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has urged people to take precautionary measures during the ongoing hot spell. Citizens are advised to avoid direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours, stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, wear light-colored clothing, and remain in shaded or cool areas whenever possible.
Health experts have also advised parents, senior citizens, and outdoor workers to take extra precautions, as they are more vulnerable to heat-related illnesses. Employers have been encouraged to provide safe working conditions for workers exposed to extreme temperatures.
According to the latest weather forecast, Karachi may receive light drizzle, but hot and humid conditions are expected to continue across most parts of Pakistan until a stronger weather system develops. Residents are advised to follow official PMD weather updates for the latest forecasts and safety guidance.
