Karachi Weather Today: Strong Winds and Light Drizzle Expected as PMD Forecasts Hot and Humid Conditions

Karachi weather today is expected to remain hot and humid, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasting occasional strong winds and light drizzle in some parts of the city over the next 24 hours.

Despite the warm weather, sea breezes and brief cloudy spells may help ease the heat in Karachi as per the latest weather forecast.

The PMD said strong winds can occur at times and light drizzle is expected at isolated places in Karachi. The weather is normal for this monsoon period and could cause some temporary cooling in the affected regions.

The humid conditions experienced across the city are also due to the humidity in the department which is currently 75%, the department reported. Sea breezes, meanwhile, are gusting at 18 km/h which is aiding air circulation along the coast.

The residents are advised to drink plenty of water, avoid unnecessary outing in the afternoon and keep updated with the latest weather information of Karachi which may vary throughout the day.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department continues to monitor the city’s weather and will issue further advisories if there are any significant changes in the forecast.
