Karachi Weather Today: Temperature May Hit 41°C as Heatwave Intensifies in Sindh

Karachi is experiencing a severe heatwave warning as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a sharp rise in temperature. According to the latest Karachi weather update today, the mercury may climb up to 41°C on Thursday, with extreme hot and humid conditions expected across the city.

The PMD has also issued a heat wave warning for Sindh province, which will be in moderate to severe heat in most districts of the province, including Karachi, Hyderabad and the surrounding areas, until 12 June 2026.

According to weather prediction, Karachi’s temperature is expected to rise in coming days to 42°C as per the Karachi weather forecast 2026. Today’s forecast high is approximately 41°C, one of the hottest days of the year.

During the next 24 hours, the hot weather in Karachi will continue with high moisture content, which will make the weather uncomfortable for the residents, officials confirmed.

PMD information indicated that Southwesterly sea breezes of 22 km/h and 79% humidity were observed. The overall feels-like temperature is getting more elevated in Karachi due to this combination of heat and moisture.

Karachi’s minimum temperature came in at 30.3°C in the past 24 hours, reflecting warm night temperatures as well.

Medical experts have issued an important heatwave health advisory for Karachi citizens, urging people to take strict precautions during the ongoing extreme weather.

Under such conditions, the risk of developing heat-related illnesses, infections and dehydration rises significantly, doctors warned.
