Lahore Cracks Down on Helmet Violations: Rs2,000 Challan to be Issued

In a bid to ensure road safety, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Amara Athar has announced a strict crackdown on motorcyclists violating helmet rules. From today, riders without helmets will be barred from using major roads like Mall Road, Canal Road, and Jail Road.

CTO Amara Athar emphasized that no one will be allowed to ride motorcycles in Lahore without a safety helmet. The crackdown will be enforced through strict monitoring, and a challan of Rs2,000 will be issued to violators.
