In a startling development, four judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC), including Justice Shujaat Ali Khan, Justice Miss Alia Neelam, Justice Shahid Bilal Hasan, and Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh, have reportedly received suspicious letters. Immediate Response to the Incident
Upon receiving the suspicious letters, the judges promptly informed the Chief Justice of LHC. Lahore DIG Ali Nasir Rizvi confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is currently underway. Following the incident, a substantial police force was deployed at the location.
Investigation Teams Arrive at the Scene
Officials from Lahore DIG (Operations), Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), and forensic teams arrived at the High Court to investigate the matter. CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana and officials from other related institutions met with the judges and briefed them about the situation.
Courier Company Employee Detained
In connection with the suspicious letters, an employee of a private courier company has been detained. The CTD seized the letters and initiated an investigation.
