Latest Update on NADRA B-Form Fees – October 2023

In a bid to streamline and enhance the process of acquiring Child Registration Certificates (CRC) or B-forms, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) of Pakistan has made significant strides in automating and simplifying this crucial documentation for individuals under the age of 18.

What is a B-Form?

The B-Form, also known as the Child Registration Certificate, is a fundamental right for minors to obtain a registration certificate from their place of origin. To obtain this document, it is imperative that at least one of the parents possesses a valid National Identity Card (NIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).

How to Apply for a B-Form:

The process of applying for a B-Form is now more accessible than ever. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Visit the Nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC): Start by going to the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC).
  2. Token Issuance: Upon arrival at the NRC, you will be issued a token to begin the process.
  3. Photograph Capture: Your photograph will be captured as part of the application process.
  4. Fingerprint and Signature: Your fingerprints and signature will be recorded to establish your unique identity.
  5. Data Entry: Necessary data entry will be completed, and the application form will be printed for your review.
  6. Review and Attestation: You will receive a printed version of your application form. It is essential to review the details carefully. If either of your parents is present during the application, their biometrics can be captured, making the attestation of the form unnecessary.
  7. Form Submission: After reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of your application, submit it to the concerned NRC. Please note that the form should be attested by a gazetted officer if neither parent is available for biometric verification.

B-Form Delivery Time:

Under normal circumstances, the processing time for a B-Form is typically five working days.

NADRA Form B Fee:

The fee structure for obtaining a CRC is as follows:

  • Regular Category: Rs50
  • Executive Category: Rs500

These updates from NADRA reflect their commitment to making essential documentation more accessible and efficient for the citizens of Pakistan. The simplified process and reasonable fees aim to ensure that every child’s right to a B-Form is upheld effectively.
