Karachi received its first spell of rain on Sunday with a light drizzle in various areas of the city.
Lasbela, Gurumandir and MA Jinnah Road experienced the drops of rain. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has said light rain may keep occurring in Karachi from Sunday till tomorrow (Monday) night.
The department further added that a new wave of cold is also expected in Karachi from December 28 onwards. The new weather will continue till January 5, 2022. Temperature is expected to fall below 10 degrees Celsius.
It was cloudy throughout the day on Sunday with the minimum temperature recorded in Karachi at 17 degrees Celsius. �Minimum visibility for the day is one kilometer, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 26 degrees Celsius,� the PMD said.
