Dispelling the claims made by Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed, estranged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Jahangir Khan Tareen said he never gave a penny for the household expenses of Bani Gala.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Tareen said he did everything in his capacity to help PTI in the quest to build a new Pakistan.
He added that the aforementioned truth was merely to set the record straight regardless of his current relationship with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Regardless of the current status of my relationship with Imran khan, the truth must be told. I did whatever was in my capacity to help PTI in the quest to build a new Pakistan but I never gave a penny for the household expenses of Bani Gala. Just want to set the record straight, read the tweet.
Earlier, in a talk show, Justice (retd) Wajihuddin, who quit PTI in 2016 had alleged that Tareen used to pay at least Rs3 million for the expenses of PM Imrans house.
