New Helmet Violation Fine in Lahore: Rs 2000 Challan for Offenders

Helmet Violation Fine in Lahore – The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Lahore, Amara Athar, has enforced stricter measures against motorcyclists not wearing helmets. Effective immediately, hefty fines of Rs2,000 will be imposed on violators caught without helmets on main roads, including the iconic Mall Road.

CTO Athar emphasized the critical importance of helmet use for motorcyclists’ safety, declaring that riding without a helmet will no longer be tolerated in Lahore. A comprehensive crackdown is planned on key routes like Canal Road and Jail Road to ensure compliance with this safety mandate.

This initiative aims to enhance road safety and reduce the risk of injuries from motorcycle accidents. Violators are urged to adhere to the new regulations to avoid facing the substantial fine and contribute to creating safer roads for all commuters in Lahore.
