No Entry Fee for Special Children at Karachi Zoo: Mayor Murtaza Wahab’s Inclusive Move

In a progressive move for inclusivity, the Karachi Zoo has officially waived the entry fee for special children. Mayor Murtaza Wahab issued immediate instructions to the zoo officials, ensuring that children with special needs can now enjoy the zoo without any financial burden.

Speaking on the initiative, Mayor Wahab emphasized, “Special children are our valuable asset, and it is the responsibility of society to support and nurture them.” He added that the Sindh government is actively running programs to provide employment, skill development, and awareness opportunities for special children.

Highlighting the focus on education, the Mayor said that modern education, assistive tools, and a suitable curriculum for special children are among the top priorities of the local government.
