Following a thorough consultation with the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance is poised to announce the final decision regarding these anticipated price adjustments.
The impending changes in petroleum product prices are expected to be disclosed today, with Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar slated to give his official approval. In a strategic move, diesel prices are projected to witness a substantial decrease of Rs 12 per liter, while petrol is expected to see a dip of Rs 10 for the next 15 days of December.
Sources suggest that the cost of kerosene oil is likely to experience a downward shift by Rs 7, and light diesel oil is anticipated to become more affordable by Rs 13 per liter.
