The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) issued new travel guidelines for travelers. People with full vaccinations from abroad will be able to travel to Pakistan. The new guidelines will be effective from October 1.
The guidelines issued by the Civil Aviation Authority on Thursday said that all travel rules and regulations will come into force from October 1, according to which people aged 18 and above traveling to Pakistan from abroad will be fully vaccinated. People under the age of 18 will be able to travel to Pakistan even without a vaccine certificate.
It is also inform that passengers between the ages of 15 and 18 will be able to travel to Pakistan without vaccine certificate till October 31. However, from December 1, passengers of this age must have to get dose of vaccine for travel to Pakistan.
Pakistani students under the age of 18 studying abroad will be allowed to travel to Pakistan without a vaccine certificate. They have to be given a full dose of the vaccine when traveling abroad from Pakistan.
Foreign passport holders under 18 will be allowed to travel to Pakistan without a vaccination certificate.
The notification also informs that passengers who have not been vaccinated on medical grounds will be able to travel to Pakistan only if they obtain a doctor’s certificate.
Diplomatic passports holders will not be required to undergo PRC on arrival in Pakistan. Meanwhile diplomats will be quarantined at their residences for 10 days.
