Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani announced long-term visas for investors, emphasizing Pakistan’s growing trade ties with various countries, including a $3 billion increase in trade with the United States. The government is also working to improve relations with the international community.
Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti highlighted the business-friendly visa policy and efforts to combat smuggling.
IT and Telecommunication Minister Dr. Umar Saif mentioned plans to digitize the tax system, boost exports through the IT sector, and introduce 5G technology. Pakistan is also entering the smartphone production industry, aiming to bring in foreign reserves through a digital platform.
These measures are part of Pakistan’s push to create a welcoming environment for foreign investors and improve its economic and trade relations globally.
