Petrol price in Pakistan to remain unchanged for next fifteen days

On Wednesday, Finance minister Ishaq Dar announced the petrol price in Pakistan will remain unchanged for the next fifteen days. In Pakistan, per litre petrol price is Rs, 224.80 and it will remain same from 1 to 15 December.

While addressing in a video, Dar said the high speed diesel price is Rs235.30 and it will also remain same. While, kerosene oil price has cut off by 10rs per litre. Light diesel oil price has reduced by Rs.7.50, Dar added.

The Minister of Finance and Revenue senator Ishaq Dar said that the decision was taken due to flood destructions in Pakistan and initiation of winter season. The decision was taken under the guidance and orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The implant is happening to provide relief to the lowest earning people of Pakistan.

The fuel prices will implement in the country from 1 Dec to 15 Dec. The government has slashed the price of petrol last in the end of September by Rs12.63 per litre.

The date for filing tax returns has also been extended by the Government. Citizens can file taxes by 15 December. Due to business community demands this decision was taken, Finance Minister said.

The board extended the date third time this year. Earlier the extension for tax file returns was 30th November for individuals and companies.
