In a recent notification from the Ministry of Finance, the government has decided to maintain the current petrol prices for the month of November 2023.
In a significant development that will provide relief to the citizens of Pakistan, the Ministry of Finance has issued a notification confirming that the prices of petrol for November 2023 will remain the same as the previous month.
Stable Petrol Prices:
According to the official notification, the price of petrol will continue at 283.38 Pakistani Rupees per liter. This decision to keep the petrol prices stable comes as a welcome move for consumers, as it helps in providing a predictable environment amidst rising global oil prices.
Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel will also remain unchanged at 303.18 Pakistani Rupees per liter. This stability in diesel prices is a crucial factor for various sectors of the economy, including transportation and industry, as it ensures consistent operational costs.
While the petrol and diesel prices held constant, the notification also brings a piece of good news for consumers who use kerosene oil. The government has reduced the price of kerosene oil by 3.82 Pakistani Rupees per liter. As a result, the new price set at 211.03 Pakistani Rupees per liter, which is expected to ease the financial burden on households using kerosene oil for various purposes.
Additionally, the price of light diesel oil has decreased by 3.40 Pakistani Rupees per liter. The new price for light diesel oil is now 189.46 Pakistani Rupees per liter. This reduction will benefit industries and machinery reliant on this fuel, contributing to cost-efficiency.
Diesel Levy Increase:
In a contrasting move, the government has imposed a 5 Pakistani Rupees per liter increase on diesel. The new price for diesel stands at 60 Pakistani Rupees per liter, up from the previous 55 Pakistani Rupees per liter. Despite this increase, petrol prices remain steady at 60 Pakistani Rupees per liter.
